I have just checked it but with Rank Math enabled, I loaded that category, and everything went fine (you can see it in the attached screencast in the Sensitive Data section). Could you check it and if it still happens to you, let us know a way to replicate it?

Hmm… That is so weird, I also checked this morning and everything worked great again, and yesterday’s evening, all categories were broken with a 404 page.
Any idea what that could have been? For now everything looks good 🙂

Oh btw! I have one little sidenote about rankmath: would it be possible / a suggestion for the future, if we could change the PC SERP snippet from the mobile snippet? As on mobile, usually the last 25 characters usually fall off, so it would look better to make a different snippet for mobile 🙂

I have the same situation and I think I know when the problem appears.
I am using Flatsome theme if it could be important…
So, at Woocommerce settings I have:
– Remove category base: ON
And now – when only I do a tiny change in any product category slug (e.g. via quick edit) OR I add any new product category – then all categories returns error 404.
So it is necessary to go to Permalink Options and Save or go to RankMatch Woocommerce setting and Save.
After this saving everything works fine again.
Please inspect the bug, because it looks like serious problem. Especially when one creates a new product category at this settings.

It is strage but after I reorganized my categories tree (delete some of them and change positions) I can not reproduce the issue today any more.
So if it will happen again – I will create a new support ticket.
