    HI team
i am facing issue issue complete details of issue and the links are pasted below. Its first time appear on my website. And its only on 5-6 links all other are working normal no issue with language kindly check.

About this issue: This issue is reported if your page has neither lang nor hreang attribute. When running a multilingual website,
you should make sure that you’re doing it correctly. First, you should use a hreang attribute to indicate to Google which pages
should be shown to visitors based on their location. That way, you can rest assured that your users will always land on the correct
language version of your website. You should also declare a language for your webpage’s content (i.e., lang attribute).
Otherwise, your web text might not be recognized by search engines. It also may not appear in search results, or may be
displayed incorrectly. How to x: Perform the following: 1. Add a lang attribute to the <html> tag, e.g., “<html lang=”en”>”. 2.
    Add a hreang attribute to your page’s <head> tag, e.g., <link rel=”alternate” href=”http://example.com/&#8221; hreang=”en”/>

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting Rank Math, and apologies for any inconvenience this issue might have caused you.

Those tags are only relevant if you have multiple languages on the website and they are included by the translation plugin automatically. Our plugin doesn’t generate these tags as we let the translation plugins handle it.

If you have a single language those are not required or even recommended.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need my assistance with anything else.

    Hello,

As my colleague has stated, I’m afraid that this is not something that we control. The lang attribute is added through a translation plugin and not through our plugin.

I’ve also seemed to notice that the lang attribute is not included in the AMP version of your pages. My guess would be that it is automatically removed since AMP only detects one language. However, it would be best to ask AMP or the Translator plugin you’re using regarding this issue.

This HTML lang attribute does not impact SEO because major search engines such as Google and Bing do not use this tag to filter search results based on language or location.
