Sitemap of one language includes 404 pages and posts of another language

Please try to follow the steps below and see if that works for you.

1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

3. If the above steps don’t seem to work, kindly apply the following filter to your site.

add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

At the moment you only have 4 translations for the Swedish variation of the posts on your website and that’s why most post sitemaps are returning a 404 error for that language.

When the plugin tries to load the latest posts that should show, for example on the first post sitemap, it cannot find them for the Swedish language as that translation is missing so the sitemap generates a 404 error.

The only way around this is to make sure that you start translating the pages to Swedish and that includes the taxonomies as well so that our plugin can find those when the sitemap generation occurs.
