Hello,
Thank you contacting us today.
This should not be cause for worry. Google sometimes does not honor your titles and displays them as per their will.
You can go through this post on Google Search Console support section.
Specifically, you might want to check the title Why the search result title might differ from the page's <title> tag
I hope this info helps. Thank you.
Hi Michael,
I appreciate your reply.
Not only has my overall ranking dropped quite significantly (for all keywords), but even typing the company name ‘Goldenboy Media’ into Google, shows the keyword ‘Web Design London’ as the main Title Tag see here
I believe this is happening because (as per my initial comment) every single page title seems to display ‘Web Design London’ in all title tags.
I have removed the words ‘Web Design London’ from the content of every single page of the website (around 3 weeks ago) yet the problem persists.
Any more thoughts?
Hello,
You seem to have done so already but here are the instructions again.
Please check if your actual SEO title matches the one you have set using Rank Math.
You can confirm the same by opening the post and then following this image tutorial
https://mythemeshop.d.pr/ePhMiA
Once the source is opened, search for the word <title>
and you can confirm if the title is the same as you entered in the plugin.
If it matches as seen in the HTML source code there is nothing to worry about. Google sometimes does not honor your titles and displays them as per their will.
