No, the Edit Robots.txt feature is also available in the Rank Math Free version:

If you already have a custom robots.txt in your root directory, then you can ignore the test in SEO Analyzer.
However, if you wanted Rank Math to generate and modify the robots.txt, you may need to remove/delete the ones from your website files as Rank Math’s robots.txt is generated dynamically.
Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. If it’s not showing, you must have chosen to use Easy Mode.
