Table of Contents for a WooCommerce Product

    Hi everyone,

    I hope everyone is safe and well.

    We have a Woocommerce site and just installed RankMath. For one of the products in the SEO settings we are getting two errors:

    “Use Table of Content to break-down your text.”.
    “Content is 67 words long. Consider using at least 600 words.”

    Since we got a couple of hundreds of products, we don’t have a lot of content and most of them under 600 words and of course there is no table of content.

    Is the table of contents really intended for articles etc?
    Since this is a product, should we ignore the error “OR” start focusing on adding a table of contents with lots of additional meaningful words?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    Those are just guidelines and like that you just need to follow them when you think they make sense. In your case, you don’t need that table of contents if you don’t want (since it is just a product’s page). And about the length of the text, it is also optional, but obviously, if you add more, it probably will help you to rank in SEO.

    Thank you Alberto. On a side note, in regards to the Header tags, product title already adds H1. Do i need to add another H1? Or can i continue with H2 and the paragraph?

    Hello,

    You should ideally use only 1 H1 on one page.

    You can use H2 and paragraphs without limitations.
