Colaborator role can’t modify SEO setting

Hi, since a couple of weeks a custom role based from the wordpress Colaborator was made so some user could write and SEO optimize posts but now those users can’t do so. To be clear, the users don’t publish the posts, they write them and the posts are set to pending revision, they have access to rank math SEO tools but when they send it for revision those adjustments are lost. I’ve tried with the default Colaborator role and with it the issue is happening too. Please help me solve this.

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I tried checking for the Rank Math REST routes on your site if they are being blocked and yes, I found the Rank Math REST routes are being blocked by Wordfence installed on your site. Here’s a screenshot below for your reference.

Please refer to the screenshot attached in the sensitive data section.

    /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta
    /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateSchemas
    /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateRedirection

In order to fix this issue, please whitelist the above-mentioned Rank Math REST Routes by following the guide below:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/whitelist-rank-math-in-wordfence/

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
