archive deindexing

    Hello team

    I don’t want my Archives (“Categories” in WP) to be indexed.
    To do this, I set “post” – “Categories” – “No index”, as in the attachment.

    However, I still have my archive/category pages indexed in Google…

    Can you tell me if I made a mistake in my RankMath settings?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    We can see that the page is still set to index. In this case, please open this archive page with the editor and set noindex from the Rank Math SEO meta box Advance tab: https://rankmath.com/kb/advanced-tab/

    Once done, give Google some time to recrawl your site and it will be automatically removed from SERPs.
