404 Pages

    Hey!

So we have this weird issue. Once we installed RankMath plugin some of our pages now produce 404 errors even though the pages are published and available on our end.

We cannot figure out why customers keep getting redirected to 404 pages if the content exists.

Here are a few examples below:

    https://topshelfbc.cc/promotions-and-bundles/

We have a bunch of other pages as well as a 404 monitor on RankMath shows a lot of people are accessing existing pages but getting 404 errors.

Do you know what can cause the issue and how we can fix this?

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I’ve checked the URLs you have shared, but they seem to be opening fine as Rank Math is activated at the moment. Please refer to the screenshot attached in the sensitive data section.

Could you please confirm if you have already managed to resolve this issue?

You can also try clearing your website and browser’s cache.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

No, we haven’t resolved the issue. The weird thing is that sometimes they work, but without us changing anything other days they return a 404 error.

Please check other URLs I am adding to sensitive data.

    Hello,

You will get that error 404 in the link you have shared since the edibles page is currently set up to 2 pages only. Please refer to the screenshot in the sensitive data section as well.

I’ve tried other product categories on your site with 3 pages, and they seem to be opening fine as well.

Could you please confirm if the product categories page shows the products in the list when they become out of stock? I have asked since the widget on the left shows (115), but the actual products displayed are only 19.

It is possible that they are being removed from the list or getting hidden, that’s why the page is returning 404 for the paginated pages for more than 2 pages.

Meanwhile, you can also try clearing your website’s cache and saving the permalinks on your WordPress dashboard > Settings > Permalinks without changing anything to flush the cache of those pages.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
