Hello,
Thank you for getting in touch.
That shortcode shows your rich snippet in the front end to your users as well.
The preview of your schema is added in accordance with the Google guidelines which suggest that a webmaster should show the schema to the users as well as to the bots.
If you show it to just the bots, you run the risk of getting removed from the rich snippets program. That is the reason it is being added to the frontend.
Although we do not recommend removing it from the frontend – Rank Math allows you to take full control of your SEO. You can follow this link to remove the schema Display from the frontend: https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#disable-review-display
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Hi
Quick question
Anyone can just put 1000 5 star reviews easily in Rank Math.
How does google know if rich snippet reviews are fake?
According to: https://developers.google.com/structured-data/rich-snippets/reviews – all someone has to do is add in some html code and write the review. How does google do any validation on whether these reviews are legitimate or not?
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.
I do not believe that Google has a filter to check the kind of author reviews that you post. Yelp on the other hand is more strict on the reviews that you add to your website.
It is recommended practice to make use of realistic numbers since you are only adding your very own author reviews to the posts containing the review rich snippet.
I hope this info helps. Thank you.
