I’ve set up GA4 on rankmath but my google analytics page is still telling me I have to complete setup. Do I just need to give it time for google analytics to recognise the connection is set up or does your plugin not complete the work I need to do on the GA4 account set up page?

No, you have already connected the property in your website with the Google Analytics 4 property.
Since it is a new property, it doesn’t have any data for search traffic and that’s why it is showing zero. You may need to wait to track stats using GA4 and once there is enough data, it will be fetched by our plugin.
To verify that, please check your Google Analytics account for your GA4 property: https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/ and check if there is some data for the organic traffic for a timeframe of the last 30 days: https://seochatter.com/how-to-check-organic-traffic-in-google-analytics/
You can share the screenshot of the organic traffic using this tool and upload the screenshot here.

Sorry, I must not have made this clear. My problem isnt a lack of tracking data. My problem is when I open Google analytics there is an alert telling me to complete GA4 set up. So it seems like the process I’ve done with your app hasnt updated google

Thanks for the advice. It seems I was trying to login to my old account. I now realise there is a separate account for GA4 and it works correctly. So do I need to be concerned that my old account is still asking me to update ? you can download the screenshot from here https://we.tl/t-dB7XzbYPrb

As you’re using separate account for GA4 and it works perfectly and also tracking the data. Also, in the old Google Analytics account, you can see it had already stopped capturing the data as the website is now connected to another GA4 account. In this case, I wouldn’t worry as you’re not using that account any more.

I never said that the normal analytics account has stopped capturing data, that was missinterpreted or misscommunicated somewhere down the line. The only issue was that I was getting the alert to complete set up of GA4. Anyway, I assume your point still stands that now I have access to the active GA4 account I can ignore the fact the old account is alerting me to install GA4?
