    Hello

Wondering if you can help me understand something. One of the major keywords on my page at is the word “tinnitus”. It appears in numerous places, it headers and blocks that have H1, H2 and H3 HTML tags, depending on their importance on the page. However, when I try to add tinnitus it as a Focus Keyword, it shows up as red, despite the word being everywhere on the page. As a result, I have a ranking of 38. If I just delete it from the list of Focus Keywords, the score becomes much higher. Why is this happening? Thanks very much.Screenshot of Focus Keywords

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

It seems that you’re using Elementor on your site.

When you are using Elementor as your page builder, you should always rely on the score from inside Elementor’s visual builder because when you are in the default WordPress editor, there are some shortcodes that are not readable from Elementor and the discrepancy can happen.

The correct score is the one shown in Elementor and you will have to update the post in the Elementor editor to save the correct score.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.
