    Howdy!

    My host, Bigscoots.com, say there is a bug in your product, and recommending Yoast, if it can’t be fixed.

    So, I asked them to add this per your prompt in admin area on WP side:
    But say there is code:
    # START Nginx Rewrites for Rank Math Sitemaps
    rewrite ^/sitemap_index.xml$ /index.php?sitemap=1 last;
    rewrite ^/([^/]+?)-sitemap([0-9]+)?.xml$ /index.php?sitemap=$1&sitemap_n=$2 last;
    # END Nginx Rewrites for Rank Math Sitemaps

    I tried to send a new sitemap (as I left SEOPress) to GSC, but was told an existing one (see sensitive) is not valid as it is html.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    I’ve checked your sitemap, and it is redirecting to your homepage.

    In this case, please follow the steps below for initial troubleshooting:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    Then, remove all of your sitemaps and resubmit your main sitemap only by following the steps in this link:

    Let us know how this goes.

    Thank you.
