Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Can you please confirm if you’ve precisely followed the steps mentioned in the below guide?
https://rankmath.com/kb/pinterest-site-verification/
Meanwhile, please ensure that you’ve added the meta tag (or the Verification ID) under Rank Math > General Settings > Webmaster Tools > Pinterest Verification ID.
Please note that it can take some time (usually an hour or upto 24hrs) to get the verification approved.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Yes, I know the procedure. But simply when I try to check from Pinterest I get the message- No relevant meta tag was found.
I know when Pinterest accepts verification I need to wait around 24 hours.
But Pinterest simply does not recognize the code.
Is there a way to check if the code is inserted in the header? When I try to detect it with Inspect (Google Chrome) I don’t find that the code has been inserted.
Hello,
After visiting the homepage URL, I didn’t see any <meta name="p:domain_verify" content="id" > in the source code. Would you please share the screenshot of the settings you’ve entered within the Webmasters tools in Rank Math’s General Settings. You can use tools like https://imgur.com/ to share screenshot with us.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you
Yes of course-https://imgur.com/94gEv6r
Hello,
In this case, please clear your website and any server-level caching. Then, check again your homepage’s source code if the meta tag is already added.
If the issue still persists, assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it is possible that one of your plugins or active theme is conflicting with the meta generation.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

Here is a video you can follow as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcIWRhcUP2c
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
Let us know how this goes.
Thank you.
Well, I am in WordPress for five years. I know how to clear cache and test if plugins affect ich other.
But if I disable all plugins and add the default WP theme still Pinterest can’t verify the code.
But when I installed the Header footer code plugin and inserted the code in the header everything works.
I transferred data from Yoast to RankMath and everything mostly transferred fine. but now because of this, I’m not sure if the data from GSC and Bing are OK. (although they are displayed under Webmaster Tools).
Hello,
Glad you got it working.
If the data are displayed in webmaster tools, then everything should be fine. Just to be sure, please compare the data after few days to see if there’s any impact due to this.
Let us know how this goes.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you
