    Hello

I want to change the permalink of all the posts on my site, and for this reason, I activated the automatic redirection of the post so that the address of the previous posts is transferred to the new posts with a 301 redirect, but automatic post redirection does not work.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please note that the auto post redirection only works for the slug of the URL, not the permalink structure or the actual base.

However, when changing the permalink structure, WordPress should have handled the redirection for it automatically so if that isn’t the case on your end, you may need to create a custom redirection.

You can share the source URL and the destination URL with us so that we can assist you with the redirection.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    hello
To change the permalink of my site from /%postname%/ to /%postname%-1/, I need a 301 redirect code and I don’t want to use a plugin.
    What code should I use?
