This is because you’ve set your news pages to noindex. As pages with noindex doesn’t mean to be indexed, those are not added to sitemap as well.
I’ve attached the Rich Results Test URL to sensitive data section.
Please make sure to set them to index in order to add to sitemap and index on SERPs.
