    Dear Rankamth team,

    We are starting to grow our Blog and want to do a lot of SEO on it. I have one question:

    Some of the short descriptions of our Articles are generated by Google, but in WordPress and RankMath, we configured it right, it is there since we published the article, also updated the article and crawled a few times with the G search console, aswell.
    The Articles are: “Deine Podcast Kosten im Überblick – SoundAndGo” and “Die 5 besten Podcast Editing Software (kostenlos bis 999€)”. We did use RankMath to change the short description, but it is generated by google..

    How can I fix this?

    Hello,

    I checked your articles on Google and indeed Google is showing different meta description for these articles.

    Nowadays, Google does that very commonly. Even when everything is fine, Google may choose to display a different meta description or no description at all for your search query result. Google may skip the custom meta data you have set and instead display something from the page’s content that better matches the search intent.
