Please check your mail that is connected to your site. A mail with error logs should be sent to that mail from WordPress. If so, please share them with us here.
If you haven’t received the email then please try debugging on your site, perform the action again and share the error log with us here.
Having the error log file will give a clear idea of why this might be happening.

Also, please include the FTP credentials in the sensitve data seciton. So that we can check as well.

2. Please follow only the first 2 steps and clear your caches. The following steps mentioned in the article are for advanced users.
