On further inspection, the problem seems to be with rank_math_sc_analytics. That’s where all the database bloat seems to be coming from.
Can this be safely deleted without damaging general SEO improvements on the site? (I’m assuming it has to do with your analysis tool, which I’ve already disabled in the plugin settings.) Or are there other settings in the plugin that are causing this which I can disable?

Problem solved.
For anyone else concerned about their WP database size, the issue was a result of RankMath’s search console cache. Deleting the cache in the RM settings and disconnecting RM from Google’s search console integration would seem to be the solution if you don’t absolutely need to see your SC data in your dashboard. It’s inconvenient if you like the integration, but not worth the bloat it’ll cause for some sites, including mine unfortunately.
It would be great if a notice or warning could be added to the Search Console box on the dashboard warning users of larger sites about the potential for it to significantly affect their database size before activating this perhaps.

Facing the same problem here. My table rank_math_sc_analytics contains more than 76 Mio entries.

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
It is due to Rank Math caching Search Console data. You shouldn’t be worried about it since it is not too much disk space and Rank Math automatically removes old data from there.
Anyway, if you still want to delete it, you should go to the WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math plugin Dashboard > General Settings > Search Console and there you have to click on the “Delete Cache” button. After that, on that same page, you have to remove the authorization to access the Search Console data.
After that, Rank Math won’t bring you your Search Console data, so it won’t be saved on the database.

If you prefer to keep that tool on (since it is really useful) but you want to use less database space, you could set up Rank Math to cache less Search Console data by changing the following number of days to something less than 90:

Cache limiting doesn’t work. In our setup Rankmatch stored 229 days of cache while in the limit it was 90 days. Also, the rank_math_sc_analytics table size now is 130mbs and deleting cache from wp-admin doesn’t do anything.

That means the cron jobs aren’t getting triggered for the flush to happen.
You can manually remove that data from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Search Console
or
WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database

So today I’ve learn that unfortunately Rank Math is not the right SEO plugin for large sites with big archives…
– The search console insights are bloating the DB (one of the main option I’m interested with)
– You cannot bulk update all your past posts to see their SEO scores and analyzed datas (the other option I really want)
Anything else that doesn’t work properly for larges sites ?? (10yrs+ of archive)
Im coming to realize that RM, Yoast or AIOSEO are not appropriate for large sites and you can come up with lighter solutions with small individual plugins (or snippets) that will take care of your meta tags, sitemaps and schemas!

-you can always clear the search console cache under Rank math > General settings > search console.
-Some tests are run on page when opened and thus the bulk update option is not possible.
You can always use the SEO plugin to improve your recent and upcoming posts without having to modify the posts in your past.
