Wrong URL and date in XML Sitemap

Redirected pages should automatically be removed from your sitemap. Since it’s not updating, please try following the steps below to see if that works for you.

1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

3. If the above steps doesn’t seem to work, kindly apply the following filter code to your site.

add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

If the issue persists, you may try excluding pages/posts form sitemap by following the URL below:

If you’ve already performed #2, hopefully you won’t need to perform #1 on a regular basis. It means, if you’ve excluded your sitemap from caching already, your sitemap shouldn’t get cached again and it should work flawlessly.

Please make sure again that, you’ve followed #2. Excluded sitemap from your caching plugin, and also disabled Transient Caching mentioned in step #3.
