    Dear Rank Math Team,

We are encountering with an error that is resulting from another plugin called “guest authors”. When we publish an article with a guest author plugin, at the top of the post we see the error as:

“Notice: Undefined index: @id in /…./public_html/wp-content/plugins/seo-by-rank-math/includes/modules/schema/class-frontend.php on line 252”

We have already updated both plugins, we haven’t had such an error a few days ago and it has suddenly arose.
    Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with an error notice that occurs when you publish an article with the guest author plugin while Rank Math is active.

I checked the error, and it is caused by Rank Math failing to retrieve an author ID (profile URL) for a guest user. You can ignore the warning as it does not seem to be causing any harm. If you wish to stop the error from displaying, please check with the guest author plugin as they may already have a solution for this. I have also passed it on to our developers to check.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.

    Hello,

To further clarify the situation, this is caused when the ProfilePage Schema that we generate from the author page of the article owner is failing to appear on the pages.

It seems that the plugin you are using is preventing the data from the author page from being generated on the page and included in the author field of the Article Schema which is required.

This can be caused by plugins that make modifications to the default author pages so we recommend getting in touch with the plugin you are using for that and getting clarification on what sort of modifications they are doing there.

    Thank you.
