Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
The filter in the ticket you have shared should be added to your active theme/child theme’s functions.php file.
Here’s a link for more information:

Hope that helps.
Thank you.
Hi, thanks for your reply.
To confirm I am referring to Site Name as introduced by Google in Oct2022:
https://developers.google.com/search/blog/2022/10/introducing-site-names-on-search
So after adding the mentioned filter it should reflect the correct site name in search results?
Hello,
There’s no guarantee that Google will reflect the changes on SERPs, since It’s solely decided by Google what and which one to show on SERPs.
Here’s what Google says,
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/site-names
If you’re already implementing WebSite
structured data for the Sitelinks search box feature, make sure that you nest the site name properties in the same node. In other words, avoid creating an additional WebSite structured data block on your homepage.
By default, Rank Math should generate a name property for the WebPage
Id in your schema. So, make sure you’ve followed the guidelines provider by Google thoroughly and then let Google decide rest of others.
Hope that helps.
Thank you.
