    I am getting the following error about Alternate page with proper canonical tag & had read the following article available on rank math

    but still couldn’t fix it.

    any help to fix the issue?

    Thanks for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The affected URLs are with the query parameters and they are supposed to have the canonical set as the main URL. However, they shouldn’t be discovered by Google. You can add the following rules to your robots.txt file in WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Edit Robots.txt to prevent Google from crawling such URLs:

    Disallow: *?msclkid=*
Disallow: *?utm_source*
Disallow: *?ref=*
Disallow: *?filtered=*
