On my homepage meta snippet the plugin shows I got 158 of the 160 characters used so according to rank math this is good, the preview looks good however I just checked it after recrawling in google results and the full description is not displayed.
It’s cut off by 4 characters and in mobile view even more.
Kinda sucks to just find this out because now I have to edit a lot of snippets of several sites so it shows up the right way.

Thanks for getting in touch.
Google uses 160-320 characters in their SERPs.
But, 160 is the most recommended length and Google uses that many characters in most cases.
Rank Math is added the meta description in its entirety:
But, at the end of the day, it is completely upto Google what they do with that information. Right now, they seem to be showing only 150 characters and that is their choice. You can check your other results and notice that the character count varies on Google’s discretion. No one has a say on it and Rank Math as an SEO plugin can only make the information available to Google. Whether Google wants to honor that or not is upto Google.

Google sometimes does not even honor your title, let alone descriptions.
