    Hello Team,
I am facing a search console issue on all my 6 sites and it is Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag issue.
It is showing that the https://techparle.com/tag/workflow-management-software/, and https://hindstatus.com/tag/female-nord-names/, these types of URLs not indexing.
As you can see a prefix “tag” is in this URL and tons of URLs are in the Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag on all my 6 sites.
Please tell me what to do and how to resolve the issue.
Reply as soon as possible because I am facing this type of technical issue for 2 months and don’t know what to do, I am losing a high amount of visitors from all of my sites nowadays.

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I can see that the first URL you’ve shared is already set to index. Please try validate fix on GSC to see if that helps.

For the next URL you’ve shared is throwing 404 error. As technically 404 pages are set to noindex by default. Possibly this is why you’re encountering the error there.

Besides, if there are any other affected URLs, please share the affected URL with us, so that we can check .

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

Dear 404 because of tag present the url as you can see.

Why this tag attaching to my url?

Thanks for reply but I already tried but validation failed because of the “tag” prefix in the url.
Pleas see the urls that I have share carefully to understand the problem.

    Hello,

Your tags are returning 404. Also, even after removing the word /tag/ on your URLs, they are redirecting to your homepage.

Since Google has already discovered those URLs, you can ignore the errors and add the following rule in your robots.txt file to make sure Google doesn’t crawl those URLs again:

    Disallow: /tag/*

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.
