  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

It seems you’re using Rank Math PRO, but your account is FREE.

Can you please search and forward a receipt from FastSpring.com so we can locate your account and verify it?

Please note that we don’t offer support for nulled or cracked plugins, as we explain here:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/rank-math-pro-nulled/

As for your issue, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

We apologize for the delay in response.

The issue here is that you have assigned a period (.) as your category base in the WordPress permalink settings which you can see here: WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks.

    permalinks

To resolve this, you can leave that field empty and if you wish to remove the default category base (/category/), you can head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Links and enable the option “Strip Category Base”

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Hello Guys, Thanks for reply it resolved the issue but I dont need category and I saw you mentioned to enable the “Strip Category Base” but enabling this break my category layout view. Here is how it is right now

And if I turn on that “Strip Category Base” it changes to

Let me know if there is any alternate to that.

    Thanks!

No need to reply anymore I have fixed it myself! I had to make template pages to get to the solution.

    Hello,

Glad that everything has been sorted out.

Please feel free to reach out to us again in case you need any other assistance.

    We are here to help.

    Thank you.
