Hello,
Thanks for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
I can see that both of your URLs in post sitemap are indexed on Google and being shown on SERPs. Please refer to the screenshots in the sensitive data section.
In this case,
#1 Please try removing and re-submitting your sitemap in Google Search Console to see if that updates.
#2 If the results is the same, then there’s a high chance that the other URL was found by Google by other means, but not by sitemap. Since, the sitemap is only a ‘backup’ crawling/discovery mechanism to tell Google to crawl URLs, it’s not necessary for Google to find your site URLs only using sitemap. Google can still find your site URLs by Internal Links or other ways. And that shouldn’t cause any issue with your SEO or rankings.
Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Thank you.
Yes, the results is the same, and URL was found by Google by other sitemap that i had before, but not by rank Math sitemap. But because i frequently update The post, is it not important that the Google find that through the XML sitemap?
Why the Google Search Console can t read the 2 url, if they are in the sitemap?
Can you resolve that issue?
Thank you.
Hello,
As stated earlier, GSC showing single discovered URL for your post-sitemap because the URL was found earlier by other means. That’s completely fine and it won’t harm your SEO. As you frequently update post, Google should be able to discover those URLs either by sitemap or by any other way. It’s not that much important to let Google find your site URLs only using your sitemap. The main fact here is to index your URLs on Google. So, the mismatch in Discovered URLs are ignoreable here.
Lastly, rather than focusing on such issues, you can check your GSC coverage report or look for if any issues/errors appears there that you need to fix. Because, that’s the thing that might prevent your site URLs from being indexed on Google. If there are any issues, feel free to share those with us here, and we will be here to assist you with those.
Hope that clarifies your doubt.
Thank you.
