Hi,
3 Weeks ago I connected my site with Ezoic and the sitemap issue appeared in the Google search console. Google search console shows that the sitemap couldn’t be fetched due to a 403 error. Check here https://imgur.com/a/veYx8fT
Here is the Google error message:“We encountered an error while trying to access your sitemap. Please ensure that your sitemap is present at the specified address and is not blocked to Google. See our Help Centre for more debugging help.
Examples
HTTP Error:
403”I checked my sitemap and there were no any error. In Short there were no any issue which i can fix then i contact with Ezoic support team. Here is Ezoic support team reply:
“It’s exactly what was suspected – Googlebot crawls are being blocked by the sitemap (see screenshot).
That’s due to a rule you have setup, either in the robots.txt file OR within the plugin you’re using to generate the sitemap (RankMathSEO) that prevents crawling access unless the Googlebot IP is being used. Right now, the Googlebot IP is masked by the Ezoic IP range, and therefore not being allowed access.
That’s precisely what we’re saying – you have a rule that only allows the Googlebot IP to crawl the site.
The Googlebot isn’t going to be accessing your site from that IP once integrated with Ezoic, it would be using an Ezoic IP address. It’s something you have set up with your robots.txt OR within the plugin you’re using to generate the sitemap. It’s not something Ezoic can fix for you, it’s related to your own crawler access rules that you’d need to change at the origin.”
I also read your previous support tickets and try all solutions but the issue still not resolved.
Kindly help me to resolve this issue
I’m looking forward to hearing from youRegards,
Hamza
