Changed URL - Support

Rank Math free

Hi,

I changed my URL today and in WordPress when I go to the Rank Math tab, I get this message:

“Seems like your site URL has changed since you connected to Rank Math. Click here to reconnect.”

When I click here to reconnect, it tells me this:

“The access to that page has been restricted by the administrator of this website”

I can’t access it. How do I fix it? And reconnect Rank Math to the new URL? The new URL is: advitam.world .

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please check the WordPress URL and Site URL in those options by going to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > General and making sure they match.

The error message indicates that you entered a different website URL, as they must match for a successful connection.

After ensuring that try to reconnect again.

Hi there,

Also, it keeps telling me that my password is not correct when I try to sign into Rank Math. I have now reset it 3 times, and I still can’t get access, it still says the same thing. It also tells me that I don’t have any access to the account and to contact the administrator. I am the administrator and my email is attached to it.

There is nothing I can do. Can you help?

Hello,

Since you have successfully renewed your password, you should be able to login in on the next try.

With that said, we have reset the password again and we have included it in the sensitive data section. Please check.

As for your current issue with the plugin connection, please share the affected website URL so we can take a closer look at it by checking the admin dashboard.

Thank you! After disconnecting and reconnecting my Rank Math account, it says it was a success and I am connected. But I also still have a notification that says “Seems like your site URL has changed since you connected to Rank Math. Click here to reconnect.” So I am not sure, am I connected or not?

Hello,

Please try disconnect and reconnecting your Rank Math account again to see if this resolves your issue.

If the issue still persists, you can try adding the following filter on your website and then reconnect to your account.
```
/**
 * Filter whether we need to check for URL mismatch or not.
 */
add_filter( 'rank_math/registration/do_url_check', '__return_false' );
```
After that, the plugin should be able to stay connected without any issues.
