Rank Math can only detect outbound links that are added in the main content editor of your page. Rank Math cannot detect outbound links in the header, footer or sidebar menus.
However, it is fine you only want to add the outbound links to the sidebar menu and not in the content. The Rank Math provides the outbound advice as guidelines, and you do not need to follow them religiously.

That shouldn’t affect on your SEO/rankings, as you’ve followed the guidelines accordingly. It’s not necessary to add the outbound links only in the post contents.
Google and other search engines will still be able to see the links, so if the outbound link isn’t being recognized by the analysis, it will still be seen and crawled by search engines.
