Can’t change delimiter of Breadcrumb

    This was the origin mail to your support before I create a ticket.
    The upper mentioned Data relate to our homepage.
    This homepage is under construction.

    Do I have to stop the maintenance?

    Dear Sir, dear Madam,

    at first your plugin is great and working well.

    Only one small issue rise up ( but I think it’s my fault):

    If I want to change the delimiter of the breadcrumb I always get an Ă„>>.
    If I change a save another delimiter noting happens.

    I have stopped the Breadcrumb, reset and start again same thing happens: Ă„>>.

    Please give me a hint where to solve this issue.

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it could be a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    Dear Sir,
    I have followed the instructions on mail.
    Only Ovean WP, Twenty twenty, Health check and rank math are activated.
    After cleaning the cache I found no different behavior of the breadcrumbs.

    Health clean show’s no specified error.

    Dear Sir,
    by my further investigation I found some hints about special characters.
    You have noticed that the character shown on page is a special German one: Ă„

    Maybe this information helps to find the root cause.

    Dear Sir,

    please close this ticket.
    I have changed the delimiter to >> and this works.

    The strange behavior with Ă„>> is still present but I can live with >>.
