Where to install Breadcrumbs code in Divi Extra theme

    Hi there, I installed RankMath and I am currently trying to insert the Breadcrumbs code:
    /**
    * Use the following code in your theme template files to display breadcrumbs:
    */
    <?php if (function_exists(‘rank_math_the_breadcrumbs’)) rank_math_the_breadcrumbs(); ?

    however, I’m not sure where to insert the code in the CSS. Is it in the header or singles part of the CSS? I tried viewing the RankMath guide but I couldn’t figure it out. I’m using the Divi Extra Theme. Would appreciate any help, thanks!

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Our breadcrumbs code is not to be inserted in the CSS as this is a PHP code.

    Hi Jeremy, so I read the guide and tried inserting the Breadcrumbs code into both my single.php and header.php file. Here’s what happens:

    Header.php – it’s unsuccessful when I try to insert the code.

    Single.php – inserting the code works, but it creates a critical error on my website. So I had to take it out.

    What should I try to do next?

    We went ahead and installed your breadcrumbs in the file single-post.php for the posts. Please clear your website and browser cache and check one of your posts.
