Back to the issue, the issue is caused by the plugin “Wolmart Core”, disabling this plugin will resolve the issue. You may need to check this one with their support as they may be able to help you track down the source of the issue.

The theme/page builder you are using is overriding the save_post hook and preventing any action that depends on it such as our own actions to save the metadata and focus keywords to run upon saving the pages.
Our REST API routes don’t even run on those pages because of this and as such the failure in saving the data happens.

But if i am saving any other change, it is getting saved…. only issue with rank math data saving

Yes, that happens because our plugin hooks into the default action from WordPress that is used to save the pages normally, which is the save_post hook.
Your current theme is hijacking that during the saving of the pages and it’s not allowing our REST API routes to run on that hook that would save the metadata into the database.
This happens when themes try to save the data from the posts using AJAX requests and as such the REST API routes cannot run because the request never reaches the server via the usual hooks.

i have asked my theme developer to look into this.
is there any other way i can update meta data for my pages manually? as there are around 5-6 only.

You could try updating the data using the CSV importer and exporter options as mentioned in this tutorial: https://rankmath.com/kb/editing-seo-meta-at-scale/
That doesn’t rely on the save_post hook that we mentioned before and as such should work correctly.
