Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
You mentioned you’re using the Agency plan, but the account you have used to open this ticket is the Rank Math free version.
Can you please search and forward a receipt from FastSpring.com so we can locate your account and verify it?
Back to your main inquiry, since you already set the Brand in the settings, it should automatically be applied to all products. Can you please clear your website cache and check again?
If the issue somehow persists and since you only have one brand, you may refer to this filter code:
add_filter( 'rank_math/snippet/rich_snippet_product_entity', function( $entity ) { $entity['brand'] = "My Brand..."; return $entity; });Here is a guide you can follow to add the filter:
https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Hi Jeremy
I feel you misunderstood my query.
I have total of 10,500 products. My website has only 1 brand.
Initially i did not took care of setting BRAND to every product. So 9000 approx products was not assigned.
Is there any bulk option/hook you can guide to set my product brand to all those remaining products at once. so that they all will show in Rich snippets
Though i dont want to use shortcut as above. I want rankmath to show category from woocommerce only…
Request your guidance
Hello,
In the Free version of the plugin, the only way to show the brand is with the filter we mentioned before.
The other options you see on the KB you referenced are only available for the paid subscriptions, so if you do have one please let us know the information about the subscription so we can check.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Is there any code through which product brand can be updated in bulk to all products? Like filter
Like the same way we update focus keyword in bulk using add_filter
Hello,
The filter we mentioned before does that for the Schema markup and updates the data on all products. But in the backend, it might still show differently.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
I will appreciate if you can modify the the filter to bulk update product brand to remaining products
$product_id = get_the_id(); $product = wc_get_product( $product_id ); $taxonomy = <code>product_brand</code>; $brand_names = wp_get_post_terms( $product_id, $taxonomy, array( 'fields' => 'names' ) ); // Get the brand name $brand_name = reset( $brand_names );Hello,
That filter will only update the brand field in the Schema markup as mentioned before.
If you have a paid subscription as mentioned before you can select the custom brand for each product by following the KB that you shared before but since you have not shared the proof of the paid subscription we cannot offer support for paid features until you do so. It’s against our policy to provide support for PRO features to Free users.
On top of that, we don’t offer personalized code snippets as that falls outside the scope of our support and if you need to make extensive changes to the filters we provided you would need to hire a developer.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
I am agency user… dont know its free… im damn disappointed with your pathetic reply
Hello,
As mentioned before, this account is only a Free account and never had any subscription attached to it. Please note that the PRO support doesn’t extend to clients of a business offering the Agency subscription.
So, if you are getting the PRO plugin via an agency taking charge of your SEO you would need to ask them to get in touch with us to get the PRO support for the plugin.
Having said that, as we mentioned before, the filter only works to update the Schema markup and it’s not possible to update the actual data in the backend of the product pages with our filters so you would need to hire a developer to implement a custom solution if that’s what you are looking for.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
cant expect anything after these such negative replies
Hello,
We explained multiple times throughout this ticket that you cannot change the brand in the backend using our filters as that only works to update the data inside the Schema markup.
The filters shared above will help you update the Schema data with the correct brand name for all the products on the website.
Regarding the help for the PRO features, you would need to ask the person responsible for the Agency subscription on your website to get in touch to get support for those features as the support doesn’t extend to the users of the Agency subscription.
This was clearly explained in our previous replies and the only negative reply was refusing to offer support for the PRO features on a Free subscription.
It’s better for everyone that we keep on track and focus on the initial issue so if you have any additional questions about the Brand Schema (not the brand field in the backend which we already explained is not possible to change with our plugin filters) and how to add that to the website please share those concerns with us so we can address them.
Thank you.
thanks for your time to reply.
