Auto Redirection not working on Blog after changing Permalink Settings

    Dear RankMath support team,

    Recently, I have changed my Blog Permalink Settings from /%postname%.html to /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%.html, But getting 404 Errors for all blogpost pages, None of any blogpost redirecting automatically.

    please help if any shortcodes, which I can add on Rankmath Redirections options or any solutions, So that all blog posts work properly.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    As you want to redirect /%postname%.html URLs to /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%.html, unfortunately, REGEX would not be a viable option as it is not possible to detect the year and month of a URL in our redirection module.

    Regex redirect could have been used if the redirection was the other way around:
    /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%.html to /%postname%.html

    WordPress itself should create a redirection automatically for you upon changing the permalinks. Could you please confirm if this isn’t the case from your end?
