Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Checking the affected URL you shared, it seems to be validated just fine in the Rich Result Test. It has an article schema which is also acceptable.
As for the meta description, I checked the page source and the description is already properly set.
Please note that it is a pretty common thing with Google these days. It happens with 70% of the results that even if everything’s fine, Google decides to show a different meta description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.
You can refer to this guide for more information:

Looking forward to helping you with this one.
Yes, I fixed the issue by creating a schema and adding it to wp_head. Rich result test returned 1 article: https://ibb.co/9gW9Jm4
The problem was not the search result, as I know it takes some time to update and its Google’s choice. The issue is that the page (CPT archive) returned no rich results schema. Please inspect again now that I have removed my code.
Here is the result of my test just now: https://ibb.co/xq5nYQD
Hello,
Sorry we missed this earlier, but Rank Math does not add schema to archive pages by default. You will have to continue using your custom solution. However, with Rank Math PRO you might be able to add itemlist schema to archive pages. Depending on your setup. You can refer to the following article for more information: https://rankmath.com/kb/itemlist-schema/
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.
Hey Nigel, thanks for the definitive answer!
I read over the Schema feature and I see how this would be a benefit, especially attaching the list to the archive. However I would notes that now that I have RankMath fully configured (fingers crossed) it looks like the Archive pages are the only ones missing a rich result. It would be nice to have some minimal schema or snippet control here.
Hello,
Currently, our plugin doesn’t add Schema to the archive pages as they are a collection of posts, and since the pages are generated dynamically and can’t be edited in the backend, there is no way to use SEO controls to add the Schema manually to them.
Hope that clarifies your doubts. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch in case you need our assistance with anything else.
Thanks.
