I noticed that google does not find any rich meta schema markup on my websites while I do have it configured in the plugin (https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result?id=hZYTdD3-y2qFRv2O6JgwlQ).
For example http://www.enshore.nl/jobs/ has a job listing schema but google says it has no items and I also don’t see anything in the html code. Can you please help me?

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with your schema not being detected in the Google Rich Results Test.
The collection page schema type you have is not actively supported by Google. Please use the following tool to validate your schema instead: https://validator.schema.org/
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.

What do you mean by that? Job Postings are fully supported by Google (see https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/job-posting)| Please use the following tool to validate your schema instead: https://validator.schema.org/
If you’d tried it you could see that also this tool does not show any job posting context (see https://validator.schema.org/#url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.enshore.nl%2Fjobs%2F)Hello,
Please note that the JobPosting structured data must only be on a job posting page (a page that contains a single job and isn’t a search results page).
You can learn more about that in these sections for your reference:
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/job-posting#technical-guidelines
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/job-posting#structured-data-is-on-the-wrong-pageHere’s our guide to applying the Job Posting schema to your individual post/listing:
https://rankmath.com/kb/jobposting-schema/Hope that helps.
Thank you.
Also a single job page does not have any schema data as you can see at:
https://validator.schema.org/#url=https%3A%2F%2Fenshore.nl%2Fjobs%2Fmedior-functioneel-consultant%2FThe headline and description should be predifined right? I see a placeholder with the % signs. So why don’t I see not a single item in the schema validator, I don’t get it?
Hello,
There isn’t seem any schema generated from our plugin on that post.
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Is it also possible to do this during a Teams call? I’m not really comfortabel giving out login credentials to a unknown party.
Hello,
Unfortunately, our scope of support does not extend to chats, phone calls, or remote applications like AnyDesk or Zoom apps.
In this case, you can create a staging site with the same issue for us to further investigate.
Here is a guide that could be really useful for you on how to create a staging site: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/
Once done, you can share the logins of the staging site instead.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
I’ve added a temporary inlog url to the ‘sensitive data’ area.
Hello,
Thank you for your patience as we look into the jobPosting schema not being generated on your website.
I deleted and regenerated the jobPosting schema and it is working now. You will have to repeat the same steps on your website to get the schema to work. Screencast: https://i.rankmath.com/v/H8lHXY
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.
Ok thank you! But do you also know why this happened and how to prevent it for in the future? And why it happened to this custom post type?
Hello,
This could be a caching issue or simply, the old schema may have gone corrupt in the website’s database.
If this issue happens again, please let us know.
For now, you can follow the recommendations my colleague previously presented.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Thank you.
