    Hello,

Thanks for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that. We deeply apologize for the delay in response.

Can you please try following the steps below to see if that works for you?

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    3. Kindly apply the following filter code to your site.

    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

Here’s how you can add filter/hook to your WordPress site:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Awesome instructions, thank you!

I have done everything you told me. How long should it take to resolve the issue?

    Thanks,
    Marnie

    Hello,

Once you have followed all these instructions, the sitemap should update right away. Can you please confirm if the issue persists on your end?

We are here to help you.

The problem is still persisting. 🙁

I also noticed that the analytics data in RankMath is substantially different from my Google Analytics and Search Console data. It’s almost like it’s pulling different instance of my property. I have a G4 property now (even though I have no idea what that means!).

    Hello,

Upon checking the URL, it seems that you have added a custom canonical URL that’s why it’s not getting added in your post sitemap:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/url-not-in-sitemap/#custom-canonical-url

Its purpose would be to inform search engines that it is a duplicate page and should not be indexed. It is assumed that the canonical URL is custom, and we do not include that in the sitemap.

Rank Math by default inserts the URL of your page as the canonical URL automatically to help search engines know that it is the “preferred” URL to rank for that page. Once you removed the canonical and leave it blank, the post should appear in your sitemap.

Regarding the Analytics, the statistics shown in Rank Math’s analytics section would not fully match the Google Search Console and Analytics because of the situation mentioned here: https://rankmath.com/kb/anaytics-data-differs-from-ga-gsc/

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.
