I could not replicate the issue you described on my setup. Do you mind creating a screencast so we can better understand the issue? You can use a tool like imgbb.com for screenshots or a tool like loom.com for screencasts and share the generated links here.

In the snippet editor I enter the description and it is displayed in the preview as you can see here:

But after clicking on Update, the preview is not displayed correctly, even though the description is still there:

Hello,
This happens when your CPT doesn’t include editor support and our plugin cannot generate the preview without that feature.
Please note that this only happens in the preview snippet editor and in the frontend the page has the correct meta description added to it and search engines will be able to read it correctly.
