    Hi, quick question. I deactivated author archives in title&meta/authors and instead set up a separate page with the author’s name and a biography. I then added the Person schema to this page. Is this the right way to go?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    Yes, you can set up custom author pages and apply the person schema manually.

    However, if that option is disabled, the URL /author/ will be automatically redirected to your homepage. Could you please confirm if you’re going to use the same slug for those custom author pages?
