    Hi !

I have an issue with a website that I manage.

In my sitemap, I have URLs in french and english. And I really don’t know why…

In tried all your recommandations (flushing permalinks, URL in WP-Rocket, etc.) but nothing works.

Here is the link with the 404 in it : https://oasis.ca/post-sitemap.xml

    Ty in advance !

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Please verify the login URL is correct. When I tried to visit it, I received a 403 error.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello !

It works for me, can you try again please ?

    Thank you

    Hello,

We’re still getting the same error for the admin login page. I’ve attached a screenshot in the sensitive data section for your reference.

If you are using geo-blocking, please temporarily unblock the country Portugal, India, and the Philippines so we can check your site as well.

Meanwhile, please try installing the WPML SEO glue plugin (if not yet) and see if that helps. It’s available on your WPML Downloads page:
    https://wpml.org/compatibility/2021/04/wpml-seo-plugin-better-integration-with-seo-plugins/

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello !

    Thank you for your answer.

I don’t know why you cannot log in. I live in Hungary and it works perfectly. Wordfence is installed but there is not geo-blocking.

Maybe I have to completely disable the plugin in order that you can log-in. Tell me when you are ready because I can’t let the website unprotected for a while.

I just checked, the WPML SEO is already installed and up to date.

Thank you and sorry for all of this.

    Hello,

I am sorry to say but we can’t access the admin dashboard as we are still greeted with a 403 page.

Kindly check this one with your hosting provider as they may be able to assist you on allowing our staff to access your admin dashboard.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello !

Well, sounds like I can’t give you access because there are strong security process in my agency, which is understandable.

I’m kind of really frustrated about these errors and can’t figure it out.

I just don’t know why there are URLs like this in my post-sitemap.xml although everything is fine in the page-sitemap.xml.

    Have a great weekend !

    Hello,

    We apologize for that.

Kindly apply this filter code to your theme’s functions.php file.

    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

Here is a guide you can follow to add the filter:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

After doing so, please clear your website cache again including any server-level caching services and check the sitemap.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Hey,

    Thank you for your answer.

I have already tried this but unfortunately without success. I followed all your tutorials, including the caching one but nothing works. Moreover the client told me that he cleared the server cache :/

    Any other ideas ?

    Hello,

Can you please try switching to a different theme and flush the sitemap cache to see if the issue goes away?

If the issue persists, then this is something we need to check over your admin dashboard and provide a solution to resolve this.

Since we can’t access your live website, are you able to create a staging website for us? If you can, kindly create one, ensure that the issue is also happening there, and provide the login in the sensitive data section.

Looking forward to helping you with this one.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

I tried the script in the functions.php, but it didnt work.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

The WordPress login is still giving a 403 error. As an alternative, do you mind creating a separate staging site, then share the staging credentials in the sensitive data area. It is likely the staging site won’t be affected by your main website’s security settings.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello !

No I can’t create a staging website, my agency don’t have the time to do this, unfortunately.

I have asked to solve the 403 error for you guys can access to the website. I will update this ticket when I’m getting some news.

Again, sorry about all of this but we are moving forward !

(I love Rank Math, I recommend it for everyone :D)

    Hello,

    Thank you for the update.

Sure, let us know how this goes. Meanwhile, if you have any other concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime to assist you further.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
