permalink field translation

    Hi guys, a question. I don’t know if it corcern you or WPML plugin. I try to explain.
    With Rank Math plugin, I can add SEO info: I can add meta description and change the title and the permalink of my post.
    When I translate these fields from italian to english with WPML, I cannot see the permalink field translation, you can see the pictures https://ibb.co/LgfFB39 and https://ibb.co/hFHTT51. But I can see the translation field for meta description. So, in italian I have a permalink modified, in english don’t. whatch this example https://experiencelabmilano.com/51-3-ardex/.
    Is there anyway to fix it? Do I need to contact WPML?

    Have you tried changing the permalink in the permalink field?
    null

    If the field doesn’t appear, please save the draft and then check again.

    Hi Todd,
    thank you for your reply. Of course I changed the permalink in that field. But I cannot see this field when I translate the page with WPML. I don’t know if it’s Rank Math’s or Wpml’s problem….I also wrote to wpml.

    Hi Fabio,

    It is working fine for us:

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

    Please let me know if you find the culprit.

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    what do you mean by “it’s working fine for us”. It is quite strange that we see two different permalink for the same page….

    No Alberto, sorry.
    Both you and Todd missed the problem. What I saw in the video is perfectly fine to me too.
    But when I translate this post in another language (using wpml) I can see the meta description field to translate but not the permalink field.
    Is it more clear?

    If you check the screencast I shared, I am also editing a translated page. Do the check the permalink and notice ga in the permalink. I am editing Irish while my main setup is English.

    If that doesn’t work, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    hi Todd, I know that it is secure, but I cannot give you guys the credential beacuse you haven’t understand yet what my problem is. So, I don’t want you to touch something else than what I need in a live website….
    I think you should only improve just a little bit your compatibility with WPML (or maybe they should with Rank Math) to let all the Rank Math filed (like rank_math_permalink) to be translated with WPML Classic editor. Here I have 2 rank math field:
    1. rank_math_description
    2. rank_math_focus_keyword

    rank_math_focus_permalink is missing and there’s no way, for me) to let it shown.

    Anyway…thank you guys for your help. If I will need, I wiil update the permalink directly in the second language post.
    And I will wait that Rank Math and WPML will grow up together because these two plugins ROCKS!!!
