indexed not in sitemap

    Dear Rankmath Support,

    I have a question about the Google Search Console. I submitted my sitemap on April 21. Google reads it every day. All looks fine.

    But under coverage details, I have only one entry “Indexed, not submitted in sitemap” for all my pages. Last read of the sitemap was today. Do I still need to wait or is there something wrong? My understanding Google has indexed my pages, but don’t see it in the sitemap.

    Additionally, which schema should I use for my pages? They have tables with affiliated products. Currently I use schema, articles news. Is tat fine or should I use the schema products for these pages?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    I can suggest that you give this a couple of days and let us know if the issue will still be reproduced since your sitemap is working as expected.
    I can also suggest that you delete the current sitemap on the search console and submit a new sitemap after purging your site cache.

    As for the second question, I can suggest that you keep the News article schema since your pages contain multiple products which is not suitable for the product schema. This schema is suitable for single product pages since you will be required to enter unique attributes for the current product such as price, SKU, description etc.
