Rank Math should create a default robots.txt on the fly on your site if there’s no existing static robots.txt file in your website’s root directory.
Could you please check if your site’s directory is under the root? Or you are using a subfolder for that site?
Regarding sitemap issue, please try checking if you’ve configured sitemap correctly:

If your sitemap also returning 404, you may try checking the URL below to see if that fixes the issue for you:
