    Hello,

    I just installed RankMath on a client site and replaced Redirections and Yoast. Both of these old plugins had redirects in them and they were seemingly imported to RankMath. The client had redirects using Permalink Manager Pro that now seem to be completely broken. The used Redirections, Yoast and Permalink Manager Pro and never had an issue. I believe the issue is compatibility between RankMath and Permalink Manager Pro. Is this a known compatibility issue?

    Could you please share the URLs/redirects so we can check as well? You can add them to the sensitive data section

    It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.

    Meanwhile, please try temporarily disabling the Rank Math redirections module on your WordPress dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard and check again the redirects in Permalinks Manager. All of your settings and data are saved in your database so there shouldn’t be any data loss upon doing so.

    Hi Reinelle,

    How do I reach someone about this? We have this same issue happening on another site now. This is a major issue and we’ll have to switch to Yoast if it persists.

    I’ve checked the redirect, but it seems to be working fine. You can also use this tool to verify that

    Could you please clear your website and browser’s cache if it’s still not redirecting on your end?

    It’s been fixed. The option to redirect attachments was enabled by default and caused issues. This has now been discovered to be an issue on 4 other sites I manage. That’s a weird setting to have.

    Hello,

    We’re super happy you found a solution. The Rank Math redirect attachments settings is meant to prevent media attachment pages from being indexed as they can sometimes outrank your actual posts/pages.
