  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I’ve checked your sitemap, but it seems to be working fine.

In this case, please make sure that your sitemap is not getting cached. Please follow these steps:

    1. Ensure you’re using the latest version of your plugins/theme including the Rank Math plugin.

    2. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/xXXhDt

    3. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

Once done, remove all your submitted sitemaps and resubmit your main sitemap only. Then, give Google some time to recrawl your site.

Let us know how this goes.

    Thank you.

i have followed all mentioned steps but it is not helpful for me the sitemap shows ‘0 found URLs’, the Status is successful.

    Hello,

If I’m getting you right, you’re mentioning the issue occurring on Google Search Console.

If yes, then it’s completely fine. This is because the Discovered URLs 0 that you see in Google Search Console just means that the URLs in the sitemap were already found by Googlebot by other means, instead of via the sitemap. For example, Googlebot may have found the URLs from internal links or possibly from links on another site.

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.

how can i fix this issue please help sir

    Hello,

You shouldn’t be bothered on that issue if your site URLs are being indexed perfectly. Sitemap is just one of the way to tell Google to crawl and index them on SERPs. If Googlebot is finding your site URLs already in other ways and crawling, indexing them, then Google won’t need to crawl or index them again. At the end of the day, Google is indexing your site either by your submitted sitemaps or by other ways mentioned above.

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.
