Short question about schema type

    Hi,
    I’m currently interested in schema to try to optimize my articles. I’m currently using the article schema for almost all of my blog posts/articles.

    But I do have a question regarding product review articles. On your site it says:

    “Typically, Article Schema works best for the articles. For the articles where you are reviewing a Product or writing about a recipe, it’s best to choose both the Product & Recipe Schema types, for example.”

    Does this mean for product review articles to use the “article” & “product” schema type or only the “product” schema type?

    English is not my first language and I’m not sure if both stands in this context for “Article & Product” or “Product & Recipe”.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    If you are reviewing a product you can use both the Article and Product Schema at the same time, but please note that multiple Schema markup is only available in the PRO version of our plugin.

    No worries and thank you for clarifying.

    However, I have another question. When I choose the article & product schema and test with google, I get a warning for invalid items for the product schema.
    Like this:
    (added the link to sensitive data)

    Can this be ignored, since invalid items are “only” not eligible for a rich snipped?

    Another short question:
    Does the same apply for product comparison articles (I buy a bunch of products, test, review and compare them) or would it be helpful to add other schema types besides “article” & “product”?

    Hello,

    For editorial reviews is better to use the Pros and Cons Schema which would not give this error: https://rankmath.com/kb/review-schema/#pros-and-cons

    This is because the error you mentioned is what appears on invalid products and Google might not index that page if the Schema markup is not compliant.

    The other option, since the Schema we mentioned, is only available in the PRO version is to only use the Article Schema to get compliant markup.
