.htaccess file is not writable.

I did exactly as explained here: https://rankmath.com/kb/edit-htaccess/
But the problem comes back as if I didn’t do anything
and also I notice that every time I try to do what did you do the permission in the .htaccess file return to 0444

This permission on the file might be getting overwritten by the hosting provider so you need to get in touch with them and ask them to make the file writable for you.
