Hi there,

I’m using a query monitor to analyse the single product page, and there is a slow query coming from Rankmath redirection, as seen in the screenshot added to sensitive data.

It seems our redirection checker returned 2k rows from the query which causes the slow down.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

Hello,

We are still experiencing the 2k rows being queried, however, it only consumed 0.2 seconds. We also noticed your site editor keeps on freezing.

We tried disabling the redirection module and the query is no longer there but we are still experiencing the freezing situation.

Can you please increase your PHP Max input time to 150 or more? If you are not sure, you may ask your hosting provider to configure this for you.

Hello,

Checking the Site Info on your WordPress website, the Max input time is still set to 120 as you can see in my screenshot below:

Can you please confirm on your end?

With that said, our redirection which is querying 2k rows doesn’t add much time load as we check the query monitor and after disabling our redirection module, the slow issue of your website is still there.

Can you please try to conduct a troubleshooting issue to see if there are other plugins or your currently active theme that might be causing it? You may follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

Hello,

Please note that when you have so many redirections you should consider putting them on the server configuration file which should yield much more performance.

That’s because our plugin needs to go through all the redirections with a particular pattern to encounter the one that matches this page if there’s one.

When you pass the 500 mark in the redirections module we recommend opting for the server configuration file for performance issues.

You may upgrade your server which should help you process those large redirection queries. You may check this one with your hosting provider.
