wrong site verification tag showing

    i changed the google site verification tag in the rank math settings, but the source code keeps showing the old meta tag (old web master’s tag).

    i deleted the .html code that was uploaded, but the tag was also placed in rank math so i changed this in the verification tag from my own property. still showing the old one. still showing as owner in my search console. i can’t remove the old webmaster as (co-) owner from the property.

    why is the verification tag not changed in mine when i changed it in te rankmath options, do you have any idea?

    Please clear the transients at Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Remove transients
    transients

    Once done, clear your website cache and check the page source.
